Tyre management connected to Sage X3

A trade application for the tyre business: workshop fitting, tyre quality control by serial number, per-customer fleet tracking and after-sales - all wired into Sage X3, which remains the source for items, business partners and sales documents.

The ERP keeps its role: it holds the reference data and the accounts. The application handles what a general-purpose ERP cannot - tracing a tyre from fitting to removal, ruling on a warranty claim, running an on-site inspection round.

Three public portals complete it: a customer can file a claim, follow a fitting job or request a quality check with no account and nothing to install.

Overview

Overview

Dashboard
Dashboard Invoiced revenue, unpaid balance, customer portfolio and document volume, on one screen. Two tabs separate the sales view from the workshop view.
Statistics and analysis
Statistics and analysis Fitted volumes, claim reasons, warranty acceptance rate. Enough to argue with a supplier on figures rather than impressions.
Product journey and searches
Product journey and searches What users search for, what they find, and where they give up. A high abandonment rate on a term points to a gap in the catalogue, not a user mistake.
Permissions and audit log
Permissions and audit log Permissions by job group, and a log of every creation and change. Nothing is truly erased: a deletion stays reversible.

Alerts

Overdue inspections, claims left hanging, tyres at the wear limit. The information comes to the user instead of waiting to be looked for.

Workshop

Workshop

Workshop fitting
Workshop fitting Every fitting is recorded with the vehicle, the axle position and the tyre serial number. That link is what makes later traceability possible.
Guided fitting entry
Guided fitting entry Three numbered steps with their progress counter, one line per axle position, and a QR code tying the file to the vehicle. An incomplete fitting shows before it is saved.
360° view of a fitting
360° view of a fitting The axle diagram with the depth measured at each position, in green, amber or red against the threshold. A vehicle's condition reads at a glance, without reading a table.

Job scheduling

Workshop appointments and on-site rounds, seen by day and by technician. An unscheduled job does not exist in the tracking.

Jobs and labour

What was actually done on the vehicle: parts, time spent, technician. Used both for invoicing and for ruling on a warranty.

Tyre rotation

Rotation between axles, traced position by position. Uneven wear then shows in the history instead of being discovered at failure.

Final sign-off

An exit check before the vehicle is handed back. Nothing leaves the workshop without someone putting their name to it.

Quality

Quality

Tyre quality control
Tyre quality control A claim examined by serial number, following a written procedure. The decision engine rules between warranty, fair wear and misuse - the same rule for every case.
Customer claims
Customer claims The claim file, from declaration to decision, with its attachments and history. A reasoned refusal can still be re-read two years later.

Defect catalogue

The closed list of observable defects - bulge, cut, shoulder wear, delamination. A shared vocabulary stops two inspectors naming the same thing differently.

Inspection report

The printable record of the inspection, with findings, measurements and conclusion. This is the document the customer keeps and the insurer asks for.

Customer fleet

Customer fleet

Vehicles and positions
Vehicles and positions Each vehicle with its axles and the position of every tyre. Fitting is done on a position, not on a vehicle in general.

Customer 360° view

Everything about a customer on one screen: vehicles, fitted tyres, jobs, documents, claims. No more opening six modules to prepare for a meeting.

Fleet inspection

The inspection round over a whole fleet: pressure, tread depth, visual condition, vehicle by vehicle. The report comes out with replacement priorities.

On-site visits

Work at the customer's premises rather than the workshop, with readings and a report signed on the spot. The visit is traced as a job in its own right.

Reference data

Reference data

Compounds and tread depths

New tread depth by brand, pattern and size. Without this table a wear rate means nothing: you need to know the starting height.

Reference pressures

Recommended pressure by tyre size. It is what turns a reading into a deviation, and a deviation into a recommendation.

Brands and vehicle shapes

The reference list of brands, patterns and vehicle shapes. Kept separate so two spellings of one brand do not create two sets of figures.

Sales

Sales

Quotes and orders

The sales cycle through to the invoice, with the customer's applicable prices and discounts. Items and partners come from Sage X3, not from a parallel entry.

Invoicing

Invoice issuing and matching against payments. The accounts stay in the ERP: the application does not duplicate them.

Sales follow-up

Prospects, live deals and follow-ups. Tied to the fleet: you know what is running at the customer before calling them.

Promotions and loyalty

Bounded discounts and loyalty points. Bounded means a salesperson cannot go below what the rule allows.

Items and categories
Items and categories The catalogue comes from ITMMASTER and ITMCATEG: one reference per item, held in the ERP. The application consumes it, it does not reinvent it.
Consolidated item record
Consolidated item record Identity, stock per warehouse, prices and promotions, gallery and activity - gathered on the reference coming from the ERP. One record instead of cross-checking four screens.

Customers and suppliers

BPCUSTOMER and BPSUPPLIER feed the business partners. An address fixed in the ERP shows up in the application without re-keying.

Sales and purchase documents

Orders, invoices, purchase orders and receipts exchanged through SINVOICE, PORDER and PRECEIPT. Both systems tell the same story.

Controlled exchange

Exchange endpoints are filtered by address and token: the ERP is not opened to the whole network just because one application needs to read from it.

Public portals

Public portals

Online fitting tracker

The customer follows their job with no account and nothing to install. That is so many fewer phone calls to the workshop.

Claim submission

A claim filed online, with photos, lands straight in the processing queue. No more file lost between an email and a notebook.

Quality check request

The customer starts a check request themselves, by serial number. The file is already qualified when it reaches the technician.
